I used ChatGTP-4 and DALL-E3 along with Inkscape (a freeware version of Illustrator) to create my logos. It took me a total of 15 minutes to create a long and square version.
I want something simple to show an interconnected process that’s renewable and continuous. This aligns with my schtick/passion, which is constantly improving and simplifying any process to make it more effective, efficient, and sustained.
So, how did I do it in 15 minutes?
Here is my process.
I started by logging into my ChatGTP account, toggling to ChatGTP-4, and enabling the DALL-E3 plugin.
Since this is the first time I am using DALL-E3, I wanted to verify the plugin is set up.
Now that I have verified everything is set to go, I tried my first command
They look really cool, but they are not simple enough to match the brand message that I wanted. So I asked to see if it could be made even simpler.
Now, things are looking much better, but I still feel it was too complicated.
Looking at image 1, I feel like I have overshot the goal, while images 3 and 4 are still too complicated. However, image 2 is getting pretty close to the idea I wanted. So I focused on image 2.
Now THAT is looking awesome… next, I wanted to add the name of my website to the logo
Oops… that doesn’t look right… so I cut my losses, downloaded the original image, and added the text manually via Inkscape.
First, I download the image from ChatGTP
Then I imported the .png file into Inkscape and added “simplifying.work”. I adjusted the canvas to create a square and rectangular logo version. Then just moved the text around and shrunk the original PNG to better fit the size.
After that, I exported the files to png. Which is what you saw at the top.
That’s it!
It’s taken me longer to write this post than to build the graphic.
I hope you will give it a shot and try to play with them as well, and I hope you like the logo.
